Ohio Housing Loan Program
The state of Ohio offers an Ohio Housing Loan program to assist first-time homebuyers with a mortgage, FirstMerit Bank is one of the few financial providers permitted to participate in the grant program. Here's more information:
- The state has set aside a limited pool of funds that may be lent to first-time homebuyers. Check with a FirstMerit loan officer in your area for funds availability. According to Ohio regulations, funds are available on a fair and equal basis, regardless of race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, sex or physical handicap.
